An antireflective or anti-reflection (AR) coating is a type of optical coating applied to the surface of lenses and other optical devices to reduce reflection. This improves the efficiency of the system since less light is lost. We take vacuum magnetron sputtering technology to plate several coatings such as TiO2 and SiO2 onto glass to make it with a reflectivity less than 2% and a transmittance more than 96%.
