Stara Glass has selected CelSian’s GTM-X software for advanced furnace modelling and R&D.
The simulation technology will be used by Stara Glass’ engineering team to increase efficiency in glass furnace design and operation.
For years, Stara Glass relied on a CFD code from Genoa University.
After collaborating with CelSian on multiple projects, they recognised the advantages of GTM-X and decided to integrate it into their workflow.
GTM-X offers specialised glass models supported by CelSian’s team of CFD experts.
The software provides value not only during the design and rebuild phases but also throughout furnace operations.
It helps glass manufacturers analyse and resolve operational challenges, ensuring stability and efficiency in furnace operations.
Harmen Kielstra, Managing Director at CelSian, said: “We are delighted to welcome Stara Glass to the GTM-X user community.
“Their decision to adopt GTM-X reflects the software’s growing reputation as the preferred CFD solution for glass furnace engineering.
“We look forward to supporting Stara Glass in optimising their processes and achieving their performance goals.”
CelSian remains committed to providing advanced tools and expertise to help manufacturers and designers achieve operational excellence.
