Ladies and gentlemen, dear customers,
we hope that you are well and you have gone through the pandemic times so far without major problems. As we are „back to normal“ regarding the workload and some important topics have bothered us, we would like to inform you about them.
1. Importing goods to the European Union
Valid from the 1st July 2021 Germany has eliminated the tax free threshold. Meaning that all (!) goods, even samples, that are being sent from outside the EU to Germany must be declared and are not only liable to duty but also to taxation. This also leads to a delay of the beginning of the analysis, as the goods are not at our site.
But there is an exemption to this rule for samples that are for analyzing purposes. Everything that you have to do to receive your results earlier and with less costs is explained in this short article: Link 1
2. Term of (especially) raw material analyses
From time to time we receive some question regarding the terms of analyses. Here we put together a short article explaining why what last how long and what is possible.
3. New services of the IGR
Dishwasher resistance test according to DIN 12875
Exhaust gas measurements at the HEC for proof of exposure limit compliance
World wide new – accredited procedure for Si-quantification with ICP-OES
Last but not least we would like to invite you to visit our new building that will be build in the next weeks, so that we will move there probably in March/April 2022.
