Tecoglas (part of the TECO Group of Companies) is a world renowned engineering company specialising in the design of furnaces and glass plants for the worldwide glass industry.

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will be in charge of managing projects from initial specification through to commissioning.  In charge of a team of high motivated engineers, you will ensure design work and procurement stages are carried out to meet contract deadlines and then to follow the contract through its life cycle onto customer handover of the completed project.  This will involve some site commitment at the customer’s premises.

Experience of hot end operations and contract management in the glass industry is essential.


The successful candidate must be an engineer with the minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in an engineering discipline and will have 5+ years’ experience in hot end operations, ideally in the furnace contracting business. Candidates must be accustomed to working within a team of other highly motivated engineers in a challenging and innovative environment.


A comprehensive remuneration and benefits package includes a generous salary, private healthcare and pension.  The position will be based in Sheffield with a requirement to travel to customer’s sites both in the UK and overseas.
