The Association A.T.I.V., is the only association of the kind operating in Italy and last year has counted 140 members, technicians representing all the most important Italian glass factories and connected companies.

Every year we organize a Meeting devoted to a particular topic of glass technology and we normally have about one hundred participants as an average. Furthermore, our Association publishes a magazine, International Glass Journal, printed in about three thousand copies, distributed all over the world.

The XX ATIV Conference about "Modern technologies and techniques for glass manufacturing" will held in Parma (Italy) on September 14-16, 2005. The Conference is focused on topics related to modern technologies and innovative techniques to bring major advances in the glass industry. The Conference will serve the needs of manufacturers, glass users and technology providers. We look forward to welcoming attendees from industry, university and research centers, who are interested in glass science and technology.

Topics covered will include the following:
