Jumet 6040 - Glass Processes Researcher

Your job

Within the R&D Centre you are a member of the Glass Processes team. Using digital simulation you participate in high-tech projects as part of a young, enthusiastic team and provide technical assistance to the production plants. In your job you develop close contacts with the group’s manufacturing experts in Belgium and other European countries mainly in the glass for automotive sector.

You will eventually become responsible for research projects aimed at developing new products and processes, helping to improve existing ones and developing new applications.

Anforderungen

• You have a master’s degree or doctorate in mechanical or electromechanical engineering, with good knowledge of digital simulation, fluid mechanics and thermics.


• Knowledge of rheology of materials, structural calculations or systems control will be looked upon favourably. Several years of initial work experience would also be useful.


• You have the necessary ability to analyse complex problems. You also have the necessary personality in terms of creativity, enthusiasm and management potential.


• You have a very strong technical and scientific background, together with the necessary team spirit, communication skills and management potential to eventually take on greater responsibilities.


• You are good at using IT applications.


• You have very good knowledge of French and English. Knowledge of a third language will be looked upon favourably.
