The primary focus of this position is to provide technical support to our Electronic Glass Products Customers. The secondary focus of this position is to validate R&D developed products before introducing into production or customer. Our purpose in this position is to partner with our customers by providing them with excellent and timely solutions to their technical problems and needs.
Responsibilities of Position:
Provide technical support to our electronic glass customers (internal & external)
Qualify new products at customers, by providing guidelines and helping in the solving of technical problems
Validate R&D developed products before introducing into production
Provide technical interface between customer and production (for instance at quality complaints or issues)
Provide technical service to help customers better understand / utilize our products.
Manage one or two technicians
Anforderungen
Minimum: .
Sound knowledge of the materials and processes involved in making glass powders/materials, preferably for the Electronics Industry, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years is required.
Process Engineering or R&D background in a related manufacturing environment is preferred.
Hands on work experience in glass materials.
Willingness to travel 10 – 30%.
Bachelor degree in Glass/Ceramic/Materials Science or physical sciences is required
