China’s Refractories

China’s Refractories, a quarterly, is the only English language journal in China’s refractories industry, which was approved and started by National Committee of Science and Technology of China in 1992, sponsored by Sinosteel Luoyang Institute of Refractories Research Co., Ltd. (Sinosteel LIRR).

The purpose of the journal is to let the world understand the latest development of refractories mainly in China and also other countries, and to set up a bridge between Chinese and overseas colleagues in refractories field to exchange information and academic views.

Contents of each issue are divided into Reviews, Academic Discussion, R & D Reports, Test and Examination of Properties, Application Reports, etc. 6-7 papers are published for each issue, along with some domestic and overseas industrial news, statistics, standardization, etc.

The journal also offers exclusive advertising opportunities for refractories enterprises in China and overseas.

At present, the annual circulation of the journal is about 2000 volumes. The abstracts of the papers in China’s Refractories have been collected by Chemical Abstracts, Cambridge Scientific Abstracts, Ceramics Abstracts, and ProQuest Database, etc.

Subscriptions come from specialists in over 20 countries and regions such as the USA, UK, India, Japan, Germany, France, Russia, South Africa, Argentine, South Korea, and Iran. The journal has established exchange relationship with more than 20 famous journals, such as American Ceramic Society Bulletin, CFI Ceramic Forum International, Industrial Heating, Refractories Worldforum, Taikabutsu, and The Refractories Engineer.
